Take Advantage of the 25% Trump Tariff

I am sure most investors must be worried about their investments after the news of the 25% tariff on India. (Instagram link)

My advice – do not panic if your stocks tank. This is the time to hold and buy more because the stocks will now be available at a discount.

However, as of 01-Aug-25, the fall after the news is not much. So right now wait. At least a 10% fall is considered good to get into and buy.

Whatever you do, do not sell your holdings in panic. If you cannot add more shares available at a discount, just wait for the reversal, but do not take a loss in panic.

Note: The above advice is applicable for fundamental stocks only, not penny stocks. Penny stocks should not be bought at all unless you know something that the world doesn’t know. Even if you feel a penny stock is a blockbuster stock, buy it with a small amount like 10k, and keep a 10% stop loss in the demat account as soon as your buy trade is complete. I can guarantee that in penny stocks, 9 out of 10 times, the stop loss will be hit within 2-3 days. So it’s better to stay away from them.
